A fantastic night of home grown cinema

This year's event was a starstudded celebration of all things short cinema. We had special guests, some directors & stars of the featured films were in attendance and above all else, a great time was had by all!

To see who won on the night, please view the Winners page and to view details about the films that we screened on the night, click the "Past" menu item and then view the 2017 page.

We also had media students from Edge Hill University in attendance on Saturday night, filming all aspects of the event, to make a documentary for them and us. You can watch the excellent film here...!

Be sure to check back soon as we have lots of pictures and footage from the night that we'll be uploading over the coming days...!

We also held several other events as part of this year's festival.

Our screening of "Moana" at The Pelican Centre, Tyldesley was a massive success. Children and their parents were able to be in the pool, splashing about but watch the film at the same time, courtesy of our mobile cinema equipment.

We also showed both "This Sporting Life" at Leigh Sports Village on Tuesday 3rd October & screened "Jesus of Montreal" at Leigh Parish Church on Friday 13th October as our closing event. You can read more about all these other events on the 2017 page.
